Newmarket Family Dental Care supports the Auckland City Mission.

Dr Carolyn Langrell-Read and the Newmarket Family Dental Care team all share the same commitment for access to good dental care, and understand the ongoing need for this in the community, especially at this time of year.

Throughout the year NFDC is involved in a number of great causes, including the Dental Association’s Charity Days – specifically the Smile NZ Free Dental Day – as well as other initiatives striving to provide adequate dental care to those in need.

This year, Dr Carolyn will be providing 100 Dental Care Kits to the Auckland City Mission for practical dental support for those in need.

Newmarket Family Dental Care will also be a drop-off point for essentials that the City Mission require all-year round, such as essential food items (canned vegetables, canned fruit, peanut butter, marmite, pasta, rice, etc) as well as new or clean blankets. They have also mentioned Christmas gifts for babies and children over 10 yrs are sought after at the moment in the lead up to Christmas, too.

There will be a donations basket placed in the reception area of the clinic, where you can pop in to drop off any of the items above.
