You may also qualify for one or more of the additional payment methods listed below...
Are you a Southern Cross member?
Southern Cross Health Society Easy-claim is a convenient way for Southern Cross members to claim for eligible healthcare services at the time of purchase, without completing a claim form.
Simply present your Member card at the counter when you are purchasing eligible healthcare products and services.
If your plan covers the product or service and it qualifies, we’ll reimburse Newmarket Family Dental Care directly. All you need to do is pay the provider any contribution you are responsible for. So you don’t have to worry about filling out claim forms or waiting for refunds.
Had an accident that has damaged your teeth?
ACC is a government agency that compensates individuals who have sustained injuries through accidents but not those that occur through eating.
ACC do not cover 100 % of the dental costs – the fee structure is regulated by government body / central government / policy wording is not negotiable. If the tooth was previously repaired or damaged the subsidy will be less than the maximum allowable subsidy.
In most cases we can submit the required registration and invoicing directly to ACC for payment.
You will only need to cover the surcharge portion of the fees.
If there is any doubt to your eligibility for ACC funding then Initially full payment is required for all ACC related treatment but ACC may refund after a claim is submitted.
ACC will appoint a claims officer to discuss your claim with the specialist dental team if you have any concerns about your eligibility.
If your child has an accident to their mouth or teeth there is potential for problems with the adult teeth in the longer term.
It is important that you see an ACC registered dentist to assess the injury and lodge a claim on your behalf.
The school dental system does not have the required ACC registration to do this for you.
We are affiliated providers to Work & Income NZ & Study Link.
People that meet the necessary criteria may be suitable to receive a special needs grant from Work & Income for the cost of emergency dental treatment.
