We are sponsoring Jessica Manthey for the Miss Auckland Competition – She happens to be our patient but a large aim of the competition is to raise funds for various charities – Jessica’s chosen charity is “A Girl Called Hope”

A little bit about A Girl Called Hope:

A Girl Called Hope is a residential care program for woman aged between 16 and 28 years suffering from the effects of eating disorders, self-harm, abuse, depression, unplanned pregnancies and other life controlling issues. At the heart of A Girl Called Hope’s approach is a program, which addresses the root, causes of the girl’s issues. The focus is on teaching the girls to understand who they are and how they can become restored physically, emotionally and spiritually. The care programme runs for 6 months for each intake.
